Now since we are expecting our 3rd child…a surprise I might add , we decided we will spend the next few months getting our very house organized. My 2 children will eventually have to share a room. Although the baby won’t be sleeping in his or her room for the first few weeks/months, we need to prepare our other children to sleep in the same room. What makes it even more complicated is that they are one of each gender. Each room right now is currently decorated for the appropriate gender, so that will change a bit.
What converted our dining room into a playroom a couple of years ago, but it is overrun with toys. My son’s room (which is the room that will be shared eventually) has a HUGE closet that could be turned into a closet playroom. I don’t plan on converting our dining room back into a dining room; however, there are too many toys downstairs that need to go upstairs.
I need some decorating ideas to help me through this process, so here are some pictures I found of closet playrooms. We do plan to keep clothes in the closet, so some of the pics don’t have clothes. However I’ve gotten some good ideas from these pictures.
We have the same bookshelf/storage cabinet that is shown above.
Where are people putting the clothes?
This boy is so cute with his hat on!
